I enjoyed reading this poster and the perspectives it brings to the discussion. As a Full Professor, I found it to be a valuable source of inspiration for reflecting on effective teaching practices and fostering more meaningful learning experiences for students. Congratulations to the authors on this insightful contribution.
Excelente trabalho.
The distinction you make between Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 is very clear: the focus moves from mainly technical and digital capabilities toward a broader set of competencies that also includes ethics, sustainability, resilience, and human-machine interaction. The five-axis framework works well because it turns that broader idea into something that can actually guide curriculum design in engineering education.
I found it interesting that the transition to Industry 5.0 is presented not only as a technological change, but also as a change in the skills expected from future engineers. In particular, I liked the emphasis on combining knowledge of AI and digital technologies with human-centered skills, ethics, and sustainability. It shows that preparing engineers for this new industrial context requires more than simply adding new technologies to the curriculum; it also requires rethinking how these technologies are connected to society and professional responsibility.
A very timely discussion about how engineering education needs to evolve with AI and Industry 5.0. I liked the emphasis on competencies beyond purely technical skills.
I congratulate the authors on the great presentation and on the relevance of their work to Engineering Education.
Excelente trabalho!
Dear Vinicius and Vinicius, the competency-based curriculum is my passion in Engineering! Congratulations on the work!
